The co-founders have developed several pieces of intellectual property in their academic institutions (UCHSC and NJMRC). The co-founders are the co-inventors on the various patents that have been filed to protect the intellectual property that describes the key technologies upon which Taiga Biotechnologies was founded. NJMRC and UCHSC have filed a broad set of patents in the U.S. and more broadly through the patent cooperation treaty covering the technologies developed by Taiga’s co-founders. Taiga maintains exclusive global licenses to all IP associated with the stem cell technology, the novel antibody technologies and small molecule screening platforms.
